SEMA 2013 – It’s a wrap!

While we all wish we were in Las Vegas last week for the greatest automotive toy show in the U.S.- not all of us could tear away from the office to enjoy everything Vegas has to- erhm- offer. Never fear friends because in this case what happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas. Here is the best of #SEMA2013!

Gene Simmons and his wife announced the Ford F100 Snake Bite which will be auctioned off next year to benefit a children’s hospital. Paying tribute to the classic Shelby Mustangs, the F100 is a Ford Racing supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine generating 550 horsepower. #FordF100SnakeBite

Ever wonder how Jeff Gordan would design his own sedan? Wonder no more because Jeff teamed up with General Motors to do just that. Jeff Gordon Chevrolet SS performance sedan concept boasts a unique satin paint as well as subtle number 24 graphics. Oh and let’s not forget the 6.2-liter V8 mill with a Borla exhaust system is sure to turn heads.

The “soccer parent” look is getting a drastic make-over with the Honda Odyssey “Power Van” by Bismoto. With Bismoto installing upgrades such as twin turbochargers and a cat-back exhaust system this minivan now boasts over 1,000 horsepower. The bonus? A full roll cage to protect your precious cargo.

What does 3,000 horsepower look like? Maybe a little something like this below! The 1969 Ford Mach IV “Four Engine” Mustang built by Gary Weckesser is powered by four V8 engines. Popular on the show circuit from 1969 to 1975, it’s said the Mach IV could hit a quarter-mile in 7 seconds at 180 mph.

It wouldn’t be a SEMA show without a Chevy Truck and that is exactly what we feature next. This 1978 Chevrolet Performance classic truck concept is completely refurbished, including the suspension and original transfer case.
