What Is Online Lead Generation & How You Can Use It!

When someone hears the words ‘lead generation’, they may be thinking, ‘is this just another way for businesses to get more customers’? That’s exactly what it is! Lead generation is just a fancy way of getting more business! For Upright Tire, lead generation is where we excel. But over the years, we’ve noticed that online lead generation can be very intimidating for business owners, or even more so, it’s just too time consuming for business owners to focus on. We get it! You’re busy! According to Hubspot, ‘lead generation is the process of attracting and converting strangers and prospects into someone who has indicated interest is you company’s product or service.’ Sounds easy enough right? But when it comes to business owners like you, it’s often hard to imagine how the online world works when it comes to gaining more customers.

However, it doesn’t have to be hard! With our help and your expertise, we will be able to successfully attract, convert & close these leads to help you obtain even more business. That’s the whole point, right?

Interested in better understanding how lead generation works? Here are some ways that we work on behalf of your company to gain more business… or if you’re reading this blog and you’re not a client yet, lead generation may just be what you need!

Coupons – Share your latest coupons via email, Google My Business, social media, the list goes on and on and get new customers quickly! Consider offering a mix of percentage savings, monetary savings & even free offerings to really get a buzz going. Each month, we inquire about new coupons and rebates… if you want to change it up or need us to research your competitors, just let us know! We’re on it!

Search Engine Optimization & Local SEO – This is where we excel the most. In fact, Local SEO is my personal favorite. Many potential clients of ours need to solve a problem! Often times, the potential prospect isn’t getting found online, nor is their website generating any leads! This is where SEO will play the largest part in your success. Whether it’s SEO on your website or manipulating your successes through Google My Business, we do our absolute best to get you found!

Online Marketing Videos – Videos are everywhere these days & for good reason. Nothing builds credibility like having your most loyal client explaining how your shop solved their problem. These don’t have to be fancy at all! Use your phone and ask one of your favorite customers to shout out why they love you! Text it on over to us and we’ll help you promote it.

Ebooks – Often times your customer is visiting your website because they need you to solve a problem or fulfill a need. Let’s say for example, someone is buying tires. But what if this is their first time buying tires or they don’t know what to look for? Why not create a simple Ebook that addresses commonly asked questions!? Don’t worry, our dealers have Ebooks on their sites already.

Blogging – Blogging can have many benefits! One main benefit is to inform the potential customers, but the other main benefit is to help support your keyword terms. Many of our dealers rank successfully without the help of a blog, however, if your shop is in a more competitive market, blogging is the way to go to get you found!

Email Marketing – Email marketing is a great way to keep in touch with current customers and even potential prospects to let them know what you’re up to! Have a new coupon? Share it via email. Have some spring driving tips? Let your customers know! Be helpful and we bet you’ll gain a new customer. Each month we share an email marketing campaign for our dealers. But if  y’all have something you’d like us to share, send it over. Not a client? We can set you up with a fantastic marketing campaign.

These are just some ways in which you can gain more customers! Need even more help or need help implementing these lead generating tactics? Want to discuss other ideas? We’re here to help! Just let your account manager call or give us a call to learn more.
