New Attribute to Google My Business

Are you a veteran-led company? Please let us know!

Google My Business is constantly adding new offerings, attributes & different type of services to the dashboard to allow for businesses to stand out from the crowd.

Being a proud military wife (this is Colleen, by the way) to a service member who just celebrated his 19th year in the Air Force, I know how important it is to be a veteran & the sacrifices that are made.

If you are a proud military veteran & I am unaware of that, please us know at Upright Tire & we will be sure to update your listing. We’ve already made a couple updates this morning, but I’d love you to let me know just in case.

All of us have been on this journey together with Google My Business for a while now & we’ve seen improvements & flops, all while being on high alert to make sure that your company takes advantage of each and every offering they’ve got up their sleeves.

Google My Business is one of the best ways in which you can help your online presence. It is a direct supporter of your website & almost acts as your website for when folks are searching for your business name or product. So it’s crucial that y’all are partaking in any new offering that comes about – no matter how big or small.

One of Upright Tire’s main goals is to make sure that your business is ahead of the curve when it comes to Google My Business. Not only are most of your competitors not partaking in these offerings, their ‘Marketing Teams’ are not alerting the businesses of these new opportunities. I really think those businesses are missing out on really good potential leads.

But anyways, that’s besides the point! One of the newest additions Google My Business has recently made to the Dashboard is the attribute titled, ‘Veteran-led’. This comes shortly after the ‘Women-led’ attribute rolled out. (Don’t worry for all our female shop owners, your Google My Business listing was updated at that time)

And to quote Jeff Miller, ‘The willingness of America’s veterans to sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude.’
