Do You Know What Micro-moments Are?

Have you heard of micro-moments before? It’s a relatively new term in the online marketing industry that influences consumers in a big way.  Throughout the day, hundreds of micro-moments occur – they are the ‘I want to know’, ‘I want to go’, ‘I want to do’ ‘and ‘I want to buy ’moments & these are BIG opportunities for you to win people over & influence their purchase.

Google has done a nice job in explaining this in layman’s terms:


So, you know what the moments are but what can you do? You need to deliver on the needs.  You need to be there – anticipate when this occurs and be there to help.  You need to be useful.  Connect with people and address the problems they’re looking to solve.  And finally, be accountable. Create a seamless customer experience across all channels – whether they find you on Facebook, walking down the street or on Google – create the same great experience.
