2015 SEO Predictions

Predictions can sure come in handy when it comes to SEO (and pretty much anything).   Whether it be a new update, a new year or just a change in algorithm, it’s important for us to stay ahead of the curve.  Yearly predictions are often a great way to prepare and start the New Year.  Of course, it’s no crystal ball, but our friends at SearchEngineLand.com thought of some spot on predictions that go along with existing trends.

Mobile Search

The prediction: Google will put an even greater emphasis on mobile user experience – in fact, there is talk of another new search algorithm that focuses solely on mobile.

Content Marketing

Content marketing is the BUZZ this year! As you know, we’re creating guides for you to be able to share on your site but the prediction: content marketing will stand on its own, separate from more technical elements of SEO.

Technical SEO Grows

The prediction: the technical aspects of SEO and it’s strategies will be more important than ever.

Keywords

The prediction:  Google wants us to think about search less in terms of matching keyword strings and more in terms of answering questions. With the rise of voice search, customers can be expected to adopt a more conversational approach to search.

Bad SEO

The prediction: Companies that aren’t SEO’s first and foremost will get the biggest hit.  Black hat techniques will not be tolerated.
